I love shooting this Nikon lens wide open and tonite was the first nice sunset to try it on. The focus was horrible and you can see that in the trees on the left side. Shooting hand held is the reason, even with image stabilization its hard for me to manually fix on an item and then adjust the focus till things are good. Well, at least thats my excuse :)
I did get to chase some small songbirds around last nite through some swamps but no pics that I feel good about posting here.
